The author is from Calgary, Alberta, Canada;
'Roger the Mini Dragon' is her first book - she wanted to reach out to all ages, simply because of the beauty all around her.
The genres in which Trish writes are mixed; she is currently working on a compilation of poetry, shorty stories - which include Roger - and one other novel.
Currently, she is volunteering twice a week at a Salvation Army location, and recently learned she has a new "buddy" at the " Learn to Read" Program.

Set in the community of Varsity in Calgary, Canada, the author spins a charming tale of a magical mini-dragon whose engaging innocence and good-hearted nature touches the hearts of all he meets.
Sardinha writes well and understands how to keep a story moving at just the right speed for her audience. Roger is sure to make many new friends among young readers.

Any children’s library would be incomplete without this book. It is one of those stories which touches your heart and may even bring a tear to your eye. Personally, I fell in love with the book as soon as I began reading it. It’s a joy to read and share with your children, and open their imaginations to a wondrous world. I can see this becoming a great classic alongside Puff the Magic Dragon or Pete’s Dragon.
